Cromwell Developments is our property development company, purchasing sites and building for commercial development and re-development.

We are always happy to explore joint venture deals with landowners or those seeking to release capital from their businesses by the sale and leaseback of their premises.

Cromwell have successfully developed new sites for convenience stores to the design requirements of the operators and have also invested in older properties where refurbishments can be carried out to suit prospective tenants use and specification.

Projects have included:

Tower Court, Coventry

Working through a joint venture partnership with another local developer Cromwell recently purchased and completely refurbished the former Courtaulds head office building in Coventry.

Now known as Tower Court, this provides some 50,000 square feet of modern air-cooled offices including 20 serviced office suites known as the Chrysalis Business Centre. This project was completed with the aid of grant funding from European Regional Development Funds and English Partnerships.

Sherbourne House, Coventry

This former YWCA building was purchased by Cromwell Developments Ltd and remodeled and fully refurbished into 19 apartments with a total of 100 en-suite bedrooms and let on a 25 year lease to Coventry University.

Cromwell Developments Ltd have furnished and contracted to manage and maintain the accommodation for 25yrs.

Benfield Construction Ltd carried out all construction work under a design and build contract to a very tight timescale and to the requirements of Cromwell and Coventry University.
